1. Steps to request account deletion
- Open this page from the Aerodrop Google Play listing (“Delete account”) or from the Aerodrop website.
- Choose request type: delete your entire account, or delete only selected personal data while keeping the account.
- Submit the form with the email address used for your Aerodrop account (and phone if available) so we can verify ownership.
- We process your request within 30 days (typically within 10 business days). You may receive a confirmation email if we need to verify identity.
- When complete, eligible personal data is deleted or anonymized. You will no longer be able to sign in if you requested full account deletion.

2. Data that is deleted or kept
Retention follows our Privacy Policy §7 and Nigerian legal requirements (NDPA 2023).
Deleted or anonymized after a successful account deletion
- Account profile details (name, phone, email, profile photo)
- Authentication credentials and active sessions
- KYC document uploads (NIN images, selfie, license scans) where no longer required
- Notification preferences and in-app notification inbox
- Payout / bank account details stored for field agents or hub partners
- Parcel photos you uploaded, where not required for an open dispute
Kept (with retention period)
- Transaction, escrow, and fare records — retained up to six (6) years after account termination for tax, audit, and financial compliance. Personal identifiers are minimized or anonymized where feasible.
- Custody / handover event logs — retained as operational and legal proof of chain-of-custody; personal fields minimized where feasible.
- Geolocation logs for completed drops — anonymized after 90 days.
- Records needed for open disputes, fraud, or regulatory investigations — kept until the matter is closed, then subject to the schedules above.
3. Submit a deletion request
Requests are reviewed by Aerodrop operations. Submitting this form does not instantly wipe your account; it opens a verified deletion ticket.
